I vs I is the fifth original album since their last work TOKYO SINGING.

The title "I vs I" represents the battle against themselves, their rivals, and the environment around, all while trying to deliver their own unique sound to the world in the nine years since their debut.

The songs included in the album are 13 songs, including the Fuji TV series Ichikei's Crow - The Criminal Court Judges Theme Song "Starlight", MARS RED anime OP "Aria of Life", which has become the song which represents the Wagakki Band, and the Netflix anime Baki Hanma 2nd season OP "The Beast."

Also included as bonus tracks are Meisaku Journey, the theme song for the NHK E-television anime Aware! Meisaku-kun, and a self-cover of Like the Glittering Stars.

The Vocalo Zanmai 2 First Limited Grand Concert Editions includes a Blu-ray disc containing the complete live performance of the Vocalo Zanmai 2 Grand Concert held in 23 cities across Japan since last August.
