While he's looking around desperately, the one who picked it up calls out to him. It is none other than the good looking party boy Aiji Sasamuro, with a crowd of popular girls behind him. Though Suzu wants to get Kappa-chan back as quickly as possible and leave, Aiji deliberately teases him and won't give it back, making Suzu cry. He manages to get Kappa-chan back, but on top of being touched by the number one type of person he’s worst at dealing with, Kappa-chan is damaged, making him spiral into a depression. The next day, Aiji messes with him again by using him as an excuse to run away from his followers. With no concern for Suzu's feelings of dislike, Aiji demands a thanks for picking up Kappa-chan. When Suzu bluntly says instead to Aiji, “Because dating a fake person like you is like stepping on a land mine,” Aiji suddenly kisses him through his mask!!?
