Kazuya Yamanashi is the son of a husband and wife famous foundational Perception Artist duo. Now, he and his childhood friend Jun Tsuzuki have joined Eisen High School, well known for art education, with the dream of becoming Perception Artists themselves.
However, Kazuya has an extra goal. Ten years ago, an incident caused the breakdown of the relationship he had with "another childhood friend." Now, he wants to get that friendship back...
Kyo Takise, son of another famous original Perception Artist and noted "grader," is a third year student at Eisen High School, taking the specialist Perception Artist grading course.
