≪Summary≫
The story takes place during the Sengoku period. Rantaro, born into a respectable but low-ranking ninja family; Kirimaru, who lost both of his parents in the war yet continues to live with resilience; and Shinbee, the son of a wealthy merchant, study together at the Ninja Academy as "nintama" - ninja apprentices - in hopes of becoming great ninjas one day. However, Rantaro and his two best friends constantly fail both their classes and exams! With eccentric teachers, kunoichi ninja girls, and a cast of unique upperclassmen joining the mix, their days are anything but ordinary. Follow the bright, lively, and cheerful everyday adventures of Rantaro and his friends!
