This special collection of original soundtracks commemorates the start of the official sequel to Ronin Warriors, also known in Japan as Yoroiden Samurai Troopers. Originally produced by Sunrise and first broadcast in 1988, the series is a life-size hero action story that blends a distinctly Japanese aesthetic with dynamic armored battles fought by young warriors.

The heartfelt portrayal of its protagonists resonated strongly with audiences, particularly female fans, while the popularity of the main voice cast surged - even leading to the formation of the unit NG5. The franchise further expanded with an OVA series beginning in 1989.

The cover artwork for this release features newly created, exclusive art by manga artist and illustrator Mizuki Ken, widely celebrated for his Ronin Warriors illustrations.
