≪Story≫
Tsukumogami are spirits which have possessed objects of considerable age and gained a physical form. The Saenome clan has been charged with peacefully sending them back to their own world. However, Hyoma Kunato, a member of the Saenome clan, is traumatized by a previous deadly encounter with a malevolent spirit and refuses to use peaceful means to send them back. Hyoma is trapped in the past and continues to violently dispatch the Tsukumogami despite his grandfather's advice to listen and guide them. In order to cure is loathing (and prevent super natural catastrophes) his grandfather sends him to Kyoto live with Botan Nagatsuki, a girl who is the master of six "friendly" tsukumogami and lives with them as a family in hope she can get through to him.
