The CD release of "BAN," the Chapter 2 ending theme song for the TV anime Gachiakuta, has been confirmed!

Cour 2 of the TV anime Gachiakuta began airing on October 13 - and now, the ending theme song "BAN" is coming to CD.

This marks karanoah's first anime tie-in project. Yudai (vocals and guitar) created the ending theme as a rock track that charges headfirst through a chaotic soundscape with full force.

Karanoah's signature unpredictable musical development beautifully distills the worldview of Gachiakuta into a single piece. The track features an exquisite blend of layered programmed sounds that evoke chaos and live instrumentation that conveys a strong sense of humanity. It was crafted with the image of the characters in Gachiakuta creating music out of junk, and listeners can hear various playful elements inspired by the series, such as the sounds of banging cans and frying pans and even paper being crushed.

The lyrics depict two people forced to confront one another due to slight misunderstandings in their environment or circumstances, expressing the inner conflicts and desires of the characters who inhabit the story.

While staying true to the aesthetic of Gachiakuta, the song also powerfully showcases the band's distinctive presence.

karanoah's first CD release will be available in two formats: [First Run Limited Edition] and [Regular Edition]. Both editions will feature cover art inspired by the TV anime Gachiakuta, showcasing exclusive art design created especially for this release.
