≪Story≫
An unnamed 34-year-old Japanese jobless shut in is evicted from his home and while walking down a street he is involved in a traffic accident and dies... or so he thinks. Awakening in a baby's body, he realizes he has been reincarnated in a world of sword and sorcery as Rudeus. He resolves to become successful in his new life and disavows his previous one. Due to inherited affinity and early training, Rudeus becomes highly skilled at magic with help from his previous life's intuitions and sets out on a grand and hard adventure. After a long and arduous journey he returns to his home town of Fittoa and is devastated by the sudden disappearance of his beloved Eris just the night after they were finally reunited. He begins to become a shut in just like his previous life and is about to give everything up but after the teleportation incident he is resolved to set out and find the only member of his family that is still missing, his mother, Zenith.
