Having participated in the open school day for the academy, Himari's interest in becoing a ninja has sparked once again. She and Kawaki end up going to the academy together.

Kawaki is the only one that is older than Himawari and the others and is not happy at all to be in the same classes as them.
Kawaki normally hates the hassle of attending the academy, but the mission he received from Naruto's forces him to go.
