≪Story≫
It has been two years since Michio Iruma left the Tokyo District Court, Branch 3, Criminal Division 1 (a.k.a. Ichikei).
After being transferred to Okayama, Michio was assigned to a case in which a housewife stabbed Eiji Ushiro, the youngest defense minister in history, with a kitchen knife. The case is filled with suspcisious circumstances and incidents that lead Michio to an incident involving an Aegis ship. However all of the information regarding said ship are locked away and kept under state secretes. This time Michio's trump card of, "invoking his authority" fails and seemingly halts his investigation. Meanwhile, Chizuru Sakama, a working as a lawyer through a work experience program, happens to be assigned to a town near Michio! There, she meets Shingo Tsukimoto, a human rights lawyer, whom she gradually becomes attracted to. Meanwhile, a large company that helps support that town falls under scrutiny for when a certain incident gets brought to the light. Somewhere hidden between between these two cases lies the shocking truth. Is this a Pandora's box that must never be opened?!
