Despite his contributions to the guild, he remains only a Bronze-class adventurer, but undeterred, he continues his dungeon expeditions on a daily basis.
One day, he discovers an unexplored lower area in the Suigetsu Labyrinth, and gets eaten by a dragon!
Just as he thinks it's all over... he inexplicably awakens as the weakest of the monsters, a skeleton!
Despite this turn of events, Rent does not lose hope and continues on, choosing instead to evolve himself as a monster, until he can one day find a way back to being human.
